Disclosure: we make Baile Charme AI (bailecharmeai.app). Everything about the other tools comes from their own public pages, checked as of 19 Oct 2026. Features change, so check before you buy.
The Baile Charme trend started with @zenegaooficial's charme in the packed Pedra do Sal night crowd (7 August 2026), and took off after @seuzerj put an AI grandpa, "Seu Zé de Madureira", in the dancer's place on 16 October 2026. A few tools now let you take Seu Zé's place. Here's how they differ.
The short answer

- Your dog or cat dancing the side steps: Baile Charme AI's pet version, or MakeViral's pet version
- Two people dancing together: MakeViral's duo version
- You already edit in CapCut and want what everyone is posting: the CapCut template

How each one works
Baile Charme AI
Our two templates follow the first 15 seconds of @seuzerj's reel: one continuous handheld shot from inside the crowd, with the side steps, the glance at the dancer in the white tank top, the cheer and the low groove, and the slow turn as the camera eases back. On the homepage a photo of you takes Seu Zé's place; on the pet version your pet stands on its hind legs and does the side steps while the crowd claps. There's no viral pet version of the trend yet, so that one is our own twist.
You pick Budget, Balanced or Premium, 480p or 720p (1080p on Premium), and 10 or 15 seconds. The video comes with the reel's sound and no watermark, and a switch turns the sound off for a silent MP4.
The CapCut template
The closed CapCut template is where the trend went big. Brazilian creators call it "dança AI retrô" or "Festa Charme", and many tutorials mislabel it "Brazilian funk dance AI". On 18 October 2026 CapCut tutorials took off: @rika318294's passed 379,000 views in a day. Template uses went from 151,577 to 186,749 in four hours on 20 October (Beijing time), up 23%. Most versions put action-movie stars such as Van Damme or Stallone in Seu Zé's place.
MakeViral
MakeViral has a charme-dance-ai-trend page with Human, Duo and Pet versions. Its clips are 10 seconds and use an original groove rather than the reel's real sound. MakeViral also tracks the #bailecharme hashtag at around 14.5K videos and 182M views.
Kavel
Kavel has a baile-charme-dance page that makes 12-second clips.
What one video costs on Baile Charme AI
Without an account, the whole 15-second take is $4.99 (Balanced, 480p), $6.99 (Balanced, 720p) or $8.99 (Premium, 480p). With credits (one-time packs from $9.90 for 20, never expiring), Premium at 480p is 15 credits for 10 seconds and 20 for 15 seconds; Balanced and Budget cost less. Failed renders are refunded automatically. See pricing.
Which one should you use?
- You want the full 15-second take with the reel's sound: Baile Charme AI.
- You want your pet in it: Baile Charme AI's pet version or MakeViral's pet version.
- You want to dance with a friend: MakeViral's duo version.
- You want a movie star in Seu Zé's place: that's the CapCut template's thing. We don't do celebrities.
Whatever you use: pick a sharp, well-lit photo with the face toward the camera, waist up or full body, of yourself or an adult who agreed, and label the video as AI when you post. Our photo guide has more.

Which tools work with a dog or cat? Baile Charme AI (the pet version) and MakeViral (its Pet version).
Which one has the real sound? Baile Charme AI adds the reel's sound. MakeViral uses an original groove instead.
